Believing in Santa Claus isn't easy when all of your friends and family insist he's just make-believe. A boy's faith is rewarded one Christmas Eve when he's awakened by a steam train that pulls up in front of his house and takes him and other children to the North Pole to meet Santa. It's all CGI (Computer Generated Images), based upon live-action motion-capture actors.
I would like to see this movie just because a great actor like Tom Hanks works on it. Let me know if you have seen and what did you think about it.

THis was an excellent movie! I saw it with my grandson. He loved it! He is a real train freak to begin with, so the fact that most of this movie took place on a train was an extra bonus for him. He left the theater singing the song about believing. He was really touched by this movie. It is well worth seeing.
They are showing this at IMAX near me too, but we went to a regular theater. I think he might be a little young for the 3-d, just like you are there, experience of this movie.
I didn't see it personally but my family did with my nephews. They said that is was a really good childrens movie. If you really want your kids to believe in santa after friends discouraged him then take them to see it.
Just saw this with Felipe, he could not wait to see Santa. He also loves trains and was thrilled about all the action that happened on it. Now I saw this on plain screen, but could well imagine the feeling that IMAX could give you. Acting was good, storyline had a great underlying message and of course with modern animation everything was visually exciting.
