A man arrives home to find his lawyer and friend awaiting there. He asks them for their business and they reply "we will tell you inside."
Once inside the house, they seat him down, and inform him of his mother's death. He starts crying bitterly, and nothing they say can comfort him.
"She was ill," says the lawyer. "Her death only ceased her pains." But he still cries.
"She died with a smile on her face," says his friend. "I can assure you she died happy." The man pauses for a minute, but continues crying.
Desperate, his lawyer and friend decide to call the man's brother - maybe he can comfort him. The man stops crying, and his lawyer and friend rejoice. But not a minute has passed, before he shuts the phone and starts crying again, louder than before.
"What happened," they ask, alarmed.
"His mother died too!"
