If the majority of folks I am with is Christian, I will say "Merry Christmas"; however, I have friends and coworkers who are Buddhist and other faiths, and I wish them a simple "Happy Holidays!" because, Christian or not, the holiday is recognized by the government and we all get a little vacation. ;D

However, if you were working amongst peers that are Muslims or Jews or even Atheist, would you still wish them a Merry Christmas? |
It really depends on my mood, not who I'm talking too. I think that the time of year should be merry and festive whether your christian or not. I'm not, but I celebrate it and will say Merry Christmas to most people I come across. If I sense that they may be offended by Merry Christmas, I may say Happy Holidays. Happy Holidays covers all three holidays this time of year, so I say it frequently too, but not as often as Merry Christmas.
I think that it is best to wish a Merry Christmas season to people… The Christmas season is a season that can be celebrated for its nature. A person doesn't have to be religious to still enjoy it for what it is worth…
