The Game Master says...

In the distance you hear the howls of wolves as the first moon appears and the sun tries to disappear behind the mountains that you stand idly by...

Land Cleaning medieval

The Game Master says...

You look for a place to rest the horses, however being around Death's Mouth does not give you many choices as far as places for camp unless you wish to do so in the open or the base of the mountain. You look towards the North and probably what is an hour's journey to the nearest patch of green.

The Game Master says...

You feed your horses one at a time and then head over to the hopeful camp one hour away. You begin to wonder if you are making progress since your mission began as you once again begin setting up a small camp by a group of trees that are more or less in an open field. The howls of wolves are ever more apparent and you can tell you are in hostile territory. you wonder if it will be a long night,

The Game Master says...

You set up camp in what seems to be a strategic place that allows you see from all directions. There are some trees scattered here and there, but you are hopeful about the location you have chosen. You look for possible branches that could make spears but the fallen pieces are either to dry or thick and not having the proper carving tools would make such a task difficult.

You start to cook your catch after making a fire as the howls of wolves engulf the night. Each of you take turns resting and watching for possible attacks from wolves. Kron takes first watch and then awakes Maicman who blurts out some insults at him for waking him up. Kron not being much the wiser starts to yell back. This causes a stir in the camp, but after a few minutes it is quelled. However, neither Kron nor Maicman can stand each other and they ensure their equipment and space in the camp.

Everyone goes back to sleep and by the time Mud has taken watch you hear a loud yell... you awaken to see a wolf on top of Mud about to bite him in the face... it seems Mud's soul is so low that he fell into a very deep sleep and did not realize that he and the rest of the camp became prey.

You have little time to do much from a groggy position...

The Game Master says...

Mud stays still, pretending to be dead and this causes the wolf to bite his throat for full damage, he starts to bleed profusely!

Maicman goes after the wolf with his sword and at his coming he flees quickly.

Meanwhile Kiana and Kron yell loudly and wave their arms and stomp their feet on the ground and this causes the rest of wolves do make a dash for it into the darkness.

Ice tries to gather her bow and arrow and aim, but the cover of the night gives the wolves camouflage, not to mention that your fire has almost died out from lack of care.

[medieval] Cleaning The Land

The Game Master says...

Ice moves in close to inspect Mud's wounds.

"The good thing is the bleeding will help remove any germs that may have been in the wolf's mouth. Maicman, take your knife and cut the bottom off of Mud's cloak so we can use it as a bandage."

Maicman looks puzzled for a second and then notices that there is no cloak on Mud. Ice seeing Maicman's delay, curses and then takes her own - rips it - and then makes a makeshift covering and seal for Mud's wounds.

Mud is in a lot of pain and fortunately the wolf did not rip the skin away, but only punctured. Nevertheless, it is quite an uncomfortable feeling and Ice can hardly talk.

Kron immediately tends to the fire to bring it back to the life, but this means that he will now have to look for extra wood and he wonders if it worth venturing around for it. You can see flashes of wolves eyes here and there in the darkness. you wonder how many of them there are... three, no four, wait, six? You feel uneasy at being watched and your scrappings from dinner do not help (you left all strewn on the ground as your low soul would tell).

The Game Master says...

Kiana makes a poultice with what little light she has and applies it to the wounds of Mud.

Kron starts to light some torches, which is a difficult task in the dark, but after the initial one, he is able to light three more.

You advise Mud and Kiana to sleep while Ice, Maicman and Kron grumble concerning the ill favor of Mud's actions. You watch the night sky and as it slowly turns to a pale blue. The sun begins to rise and the creepy eyes that seemed to monitor your camp are now gone. Everyone is extremely groggy, irritated and on edge. You start to smell too which makes your presence around each other even more distasteful.

The Game Master says...

You wonder what to do as the sun becomes more strong. You feel dirty, smelly and uncomfortable. The mood in the camp is less than desirable and you often find yourselves becoming almost territorial with your own space. Mud is very irritated with constant head aches and he maintains a constant frown on his face from lack of rest.
