Well, if we find healthy fish in the river, that should be an indication that the water is safe. Also, we can see if the horses will drink it. Animals have a sense about such things. If the horses refuse, then it isn't safe.
Maybe we should look for some berries along the riverbank while we are here.

Well, I don't imagine anyone is hungry enough to eat tadpoles and bowl size fish at this point. I have enough rations to last me for at least a week so, I will just eat one of my rations. Those of you with short supplies may want to consider eating them or eating less than an entire ration, but it is up to how your character would act at this point. Probably most of us would need to be pretty hungry to eat tadpoles, etc. Of course, where there are tadpoles there ought to be frogs. Should we look for frogs or just give up?
OOC: Seems we now need to respond to two posts by the GM in our next action.
IC: Ice walks to the wagon and gets her cloak which she then puts on to protect herself from the rain.
I don't know how well we can hunt in the rain, so I guess I'll have to eat from my own rations as well.
Also, I have no protection from the rain. If there is no immediate risk, I can remove my armor and wear my clothes instead, so the armor will not get wet. do you think it's safe enough?
Sorry everyone for not posting today, I was swamped at work. I will post the following: Ice will wear her cloak and eat one ration. Kiana will also wear her cloak and eat one ration. Mud will try to change from his armor into clothes and eat one ration. Maicman, I don't think there is anything to hunt for here, so please state whether you will eat a ration of food, and I will post that you also will wear your cloak. Thanks everyone, party order post planned for tomorrow morning.
