One of the birds might be good food, as you pointed out. Will you be willing to use your arrows and hunt one of the many birds down? |
Do you suppose those birds may be dangerous? If one of us goes alone, will he be likely to get hurt? Or should we just travel there in the wagon?
I volunteer to keep it - I have the least items on me.
I don't think the birds can be dangerous. I think Mud should jump out of the wagon, pick up the bird. Remove the arrow, slit it's throat to drain it of blood. Return to the wagon, give the arrow back to Ice and store the bird out of the sun for dinner later with the snake. Then I think we should just continue on our way. I think we need to specify that we will each stay on the side of the wagons as designated earlier, looking for any signs of trouble.
I think we should go to Death's Mouth, because after all, our objection is to clean the land, and many of the evil in the world centers around that area. If not, then to the west. We definitely don't want to lose our wagon now.
I think we should go west. We were told at the beginning of the quest that we would not need to travel through Death's Mouth. I have no interest in traveling through Death's Mouth. I think we need to say out of bow range of the mountains. The scenario we were told to read at the beginning of this one showed that people were shot and killed from others hiding in the mountains above. Since I am the only one with a bow, we have no way to adequately defend outselves from people shooting at us from a distance. We are only prepared for hand to hand combat.
I think it's time for lunch. There's no sense in going closer into the forest until we have filled out bellies. I have a feeling that once we're in the shadow of the trees, our real adventure will begin. No reason to do it on an empty stomach.
Offtopic but, I'm letting you guys know that I won't be very active this week since I have four tests. School is my priority at the moment. |
