I suggest we raise the white flag. Or at least raise our arms to give up. I don't see how we can possible beat 20 men. I am the only one with arrows and there is no way we can fight them hand to hand. I don't think there is any place where we can escape since we are already surrounded. So, I say we should speak to them and see why they are firing at us? Assure them we are friendly. Tell them we are just out hunting.
So, we agree to raise our hands in the air, and wait for them to ask questions or do we state that we are friendly, mean them no harm and are out hunting?
I think we raise our hands and then very loudly and clearly state the other stuff as well.
Hmmm, Ice, wasn't expecting that? Were you? I assume that has something to do with the Secret Order, or something like that. State what you would like to answer here, and if you can't explain to us why you did what you did, that's fine as well. Thanks!
Well, I wasn't expecting that it is true. It is also true I can't discuss why I may have done that. However, here is what I do think:
I think we should just be honest. We certainly aren't out here doing anything bad. Perhaps we just tell them we were hired to look for signs of strange dark cloaked men that have been know to kill innocent people and try to rid the area of them. Explain that we mean them no harm whatsoever.
Or, do we just continue to insist we are just hunting?
I could point out I do have a bow, and that I didn't realize my hunting companions didn't have bows with them until after we were already out. Perhaps I could concoct a story that I am a hunting guide and my customers foolishly came without the proper equipment to hunt. What was I left to do, but take them out anyway and do the hunting myself. We could show them the snake and bird. However, I think the truth might be best.
In any case, the question has been raised to you specifically, Ice, so your answer should be forthcoming. I myself am skeptical about lying. We haven't gotten too deep into the lie yet, as we have only said we are hunting. Now we can clarify it with the fact that we are hunting bandits. If these be men of the army, and we explain that the Elders of the Village have asked us to come out here, then I don't see why they wouldn't let us be.
Ice, prepare the message you would like to give to the man who has approached you and I will post it in party order. I would assume there is a reason for him approaching you after you did what you did.
IC:
"Well, it is true we be hunting and it be true we be hunting men, of a sort. The elders of our village asked us to come out in search of bandits that might mean to harm innocent citizens. That is what we have been doing. We have found no bandits, though we did come across one poor soul who had died in his travels."
