Maicman, I realize that you are in a different time zone than most of us are, so I will give you time to post your opinion and thoughts and post party order tomorrow morning CST. What I plan to post is that we hitch the second horse to the wagon, as was suggested by other party members. I also plan to state that we will begin our task closer to the village first and then at a later time head south towards the mountains.
Thanks. I am on GMT +2 (Bucharest on your window settings). I also think that we should clear our way. We should not venture further until the area next to us is not safe. Only if we plan to take someone by surprise and hit them from the back, will justify attaching our enemys from the S. But it is not the case yet.
So how do we approach this person? With caution, should we draw weapons, should we stay in the wagon and speak with him or get out? Or do we just ignore him and move on?
I say we approach him in caution, until we get a better view of him and see if he's on our side or not. If he notices us and runs away - we track him down; We don't want the news spread. If he doesn't notice us, we'll make sure he's of the bad before killing him. If he seems to be more friendly, we'll converse with him and try to find information.
I say we match him, weaponry for weaponry. He may be dangerous, but he may be harmless. Ice has her bow and arrow, and it might be useful if she has it in the ready as best she can while driving. Just a safety precaution, but not as domineering as all of us pulling our weapons would be. We don't want to alarm him and put him in a situation where he thinks we're going to hurt him if we have no desire to do so. That has a tendency to start things.
I didn't realize I was the only one with a bow. That concerns me, but what can we do. I think we need to be very careful, but I agree we don't want to be agressive. However, we do need to be ready for anythingl
I think it isn't likely this guy is a threat, but more likely has information we can gather. However, I definately think we need to be prepared. I think we need to all have our weapons ready, but not obviously ready in a threatening way. Maybe just have them drawn and lying beside us.
I thkink I should slow down as we approach him, place my bow beside me with an arrow drawn so that I can best be prepared to act, but not actual have it loaded and aimed. Then stop the cart beside him and can ask him who he is and where he has been.
IC:
*Whispers hoarsly to the others,* "be ready for anything, mates. If this guys make any move to aim that bow at me, I am going to kill him and ask questions later, but I doubt he means us any harm all by himself."
OOC:
I forget who is supposed to negotiate for us, but that person probably should probably come sit up front next to Ice so they can do the talking.
Good thinking about the negotiator, Ice. Kiana has been assigned as the negotiator for our party. I don't know if she needs to get in the front, it may cause the person to think that we are up to something. I will say have Ice draw her bow ready with one arrow and the rest of us will have weapons drawn but laying besides us in the wagon. As the wagon approaches, we will watch for any sudden movements from him, especially if he is reaching for his bow, or if he attempts to run. If he reaches for his bow, Ice and start firing and Kron and Mud will jump out from either side of the wagon and attack. If he runs, Kron and Mud will jump out and chase and attack.
If he seems friendly, Kiana will stand up while Ice stops the wagon and converse with him to gain more information, or see what his intentions are. Does that sound ok?
