This a a board to post any encounters or sightings of pretty much any type you have witnessed or a close friend had witnessed. I started this board because i couldn't find one to post on heh

My friend witnessed something outside his window one night. It was a bright light (no not the sun) shining in his window, his door was open (he had it closed and barricaded to make noise when opened due to previous paranoia) and his curtains were open (previously closed) This light hovered outside his window momentarily then vanished. His room was on the second floor, and facing the woods, preventing the light being generated by a car and the second floor factors out a flashlight.

Could it have been "Ball Lightning"? It has been awhile since I have read or heard about ball lightning, but maybe that is what your friend saw.

I remember years ago back in Argentina, one night my uncle and I were looking at the stars (we used to do that every night during summer), one night particularly the lights went off in the neighboorhood so you could see the stars neatly next to each other...we were observing them for a while and suddenly we saw a light with the form of a ball, very shinny...we knew it was not a plane because of the speed it was moving...we tried to keep looking at it but sometimes was too hard because it was moving way to fast...then suddently it stopped for some few seconds and then started moving fast again....stopped and so on...
We were looking that for at least 15 minutes when another light in form of a ball comes from nowhere and stays next to the first ball of light and they started following each other! yes, like if they were playing 'Catch!' they were moving sooooo fast, I have never seen something to move so fast in my life...we were there another 10 minutes when we suddenly look up and see 4 more balls of light! all of them together and moving together...and the same thing....they would stopped and they would move fast and so on....I was so amazed by what I was seeing. It was beautiful. We stayed there at least 30 minutes more observing it and we noticed other neighbors were also watching it and talking about it. Then they just suddenly vanished....

That is insane LSD, i cant even imagine what that would have been like. But on my post before, it was RIGHT outside his window, also his doorway had been cleared and his curtians were open. He didn't do it, and it wasn't morning so his mum couldn't have done it either..............

I know it sounds silly but may be he was sleeping, and dreaming about it even though he is sure he wasn't.....it is very common.

Yea, that would make sense my friend isn't the sharpest cookie in the shead. Though i still can't figure out how the door was uncovered, in the morning it was still uncovered........

Maybe he did it while asleep and cannot remember. Maybe he was sleep-walking and did not know about it....
