*Ann notices Kathy is only ordering ice water. She smiles and says:*
Kathy you should try the creme brulee they serve here. It is amazing. So creamy and rich, yet they use all fat-free products and so each serving is only 1 Weight Watcher point. I call it miracle brulee. Did I tell mention I have been doing Weight Watchers? I've got to do better though. That is GREAT that you have lost 50 lbs. It really is something to celebrate. You should try the brulee.
*Turning to Klar*
I think Keith and I will stop by Cozyburger on Saturday also. Sounds fun.
*Turning back to Kathy*
Will your husband be back by then? Perhaps you can bring HIM and join us on Saturday at Cozyburger?
*she smiles but wonders why Kathy keeps smiling and making eyes at Keith.*
*feeling a bit nervous at the tone of Ann's voice, I turn to Keith and give him a look of ? and a smile, then secretly wonder how such a nice guy ever ended up with her*
Yes, Ann. I am hoping that he will be back. I think he and Keith would get along great. *then wonders if she really wants to socialize with her anymore*
*after a moment, feels bad for that thought and realize it must be so hard to be THAT beautiful and popular...maybe I was just imagining her hostility*
*Ann looks around the table at the group that has gathered. Everyone seems to be having a great time. Though she feels she is getting mixed messages from this woman, Kathy, who has joined the group. Remembering the scene out on the sidewalk she figures that perhaps she suffers from a mood disorder and decides to let it slide for now. She says to the group at large*
So, do you all have children?
*feeling a sign of relief that Anns attention is back on the group, but wondering if she might have some kind of self-esteem issue--could it be possible with a woman like her and all that she seems to have....*
