Yes, it can be very frustrating to remember all those passwords. At my job, we recently were required to have passwords of 8 characters minimum, whereas before it was 6. Also there must be a number in the password. What I try to do is when I am forced to change one password on one system, I change all my other passwords to the same, even though they may have not expired yet. Otherwise, I would have to remember at least 15 different passwords. Because of this I am changing passwords it seems every month, but at least they're all the same at the same time.

This password implementing procedure are really complicate to implement especially with users. With my users I have to remaind them always to change their pass. They are so predictable that I already now what passwords are going to be:)

At my office, I create the password and the tell the users what it is. They are at least 7 characters, have a number and a symbol as well as one capitalization. I don't change them very often...about once per year, unless I find that it has been shared with another, then I change it immediately. I only care about the password for logging into the network domain...one password. I don't care what they make the password for the antispam service or any on-line research service for example.

I try to always pick the same passwords for each of my different accounts. That way I'm not having to try to remember them all. If I have to add characters of some sort for length, I will pick the same sequence of numbers, and they're usually something I can remember, like my boyfriend's birthday. I also try to pick things that aren't directly related to me, but are at the same time.

I have for different passwords to remember at one time. I however have to login into 180 different clients. Each client has a system login and an application level login and an Oracle password to login into sqlplus. Multiply that by the amount of clients! However, we have an in house created Enterprise Manager that houses all of the devices, domains, and passwords of each client so we don't have to remember them. We have an application password for our telnet client, a corporate/world headquarters login and the login for our divisions domain. Since the addition of Active Directory, we only have to login to each once and not log into the domain each time you log into a clients Citrix box. I cant use the last ten passwords, and must have at least 8 characters, a capital, and a letter.

I usually pick memorable passwords, not just jumbles of words, and have only two or three options for all of them, so it would be easy to remember. If I forget which one I used for a specific site, I just try all of them and one is bound to work.

I have the same problem. Multiple passwords that must be 8 digits long (alpha and numeric required) AND they cannot be the same as my last 10 passwords. The passwords are to be changed monthly. I have picked a very unusual word for all my passwords and have started a number sequence with the remainder. Actually using 5 letters and 3 numbers (xxxxx###), I will be set for a long time. If I make a mistake, just increase or decrease on digit usually does the trick.
