Enough

I just saw the movie, 'Enough' starring Jennifer Lopez. I thought it was a good movie and the acting was top notch, but I could not deal with the ending which seemed to give the 'ok' on murdering your husband if he tries to beat you up. Now I understand that she was trying to protect herself and her child, but was this really the solution?

Enough

I saw this movie a while back and wasnt impressed by either the acting or the actors involved. I also agree that the ending was questionable. Jennifer Lopez, in my opinion, was not the right person for that role, plus I thought the movie was trying to copy 'Sleeping With the Enemy'. Just my opinion though.

The movie was 'okay' although I did not like the fact that the message shown is that the only way to leave an abusive relationship is by killing the abuser. This part was very controversial for the simple fact that she did not defend herself, but she broke in the house of her husband, set false evidence against him and provoke him to beat her so she could beat him up. Even though I completly understand why she did and knowing my personality if I am in a situation like that who knows...I may do the same thing, since it's a movie, I don't think it was 'real'. They should have shown the guy trying to beat her again and then she would end up defending herself. It's more realistic than a woman who was defenseless and suddenly shows up as a Ninja.

Enough

I enjoyed this movie, but it is not one that I would make a point of seeing again. I thought the acting and story line were okay, but not exceptional. I didn't look for any agenda in the end, just accepted it as it was. But, looking back on it, I can agree that there was a message there, and not a particularly good one.

In some ways, I think that Jennifer Lopez was in it only to bring her star power attraction to the movie, as it wouldn't have been attractive to most viewers without her.
