Is it normal for a child to talk constantly while he is asleep?. I notice that my son constantly talks while he sleeps...what he says? basically things that happen during the day...he asks for his show, for tacos or KFC , talk with his school mates, laugh and sometimes cry. Is it normal?.
I don't know what the scientific answer is for this LDS_forever, but I do know it isn't uncommon. My mother told me that as a child I did pretty much the same thing; I would constantly talk in my sleep as if I were having a conversation with the person in the room. I never had any recollection of these conversations. We never sought professional opinion about it, because it really never posed a problem.
Thanks for the insight Maleaxander. I was searching online about it and it seems like doctors think its a very normal thing for a child of his age. I think it's pretty funny the fact that he is a very hyperactive child...and even when he sleeps he cannot relax *sigh* Oh well....
I couldn't sleep the other night, and lay awake for most of the night.
It was only then that I realized that I was living in a house full of sleeptalkers!
My eldest Son was gibbering in his sleep about his exam work, my 4 year old Daughter was talking in her sleep about a teddy who had the wrong clothes on? and my youngest 3 year old Son kept intermittently kept humming bits of songs in his sleep.
Meanwhile, I've got Hubby next to me snoring loudly enough to wake up the whole area
That 1 night felt like a week!
