Cheaper By The Dozen

This is such a wonderful movie. I know it's based on a book, but I haven't had an opportunity to read it.

For those who may not have seen it, it's about these two parents who have twelve children. The father is a football coach, and the mother is a writer in the making. He gets a promotion to teach his dream team, and her book gets published all at the same time. So, the country family moved into the city and all heck breaks loose. The mother goes away for two weeks, which makes things even crazier.

It's definately a family movie!

I was sitting here watching it with the commentary, but the commentary is done by the kids. It's so precious! If you have it on DVD, I would recommend it.

I heard a pretty good review about this movie. The guy that acts as Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in Smallville works in there, right?. Is it a comedy?.

Oh, yes, it is certainly a comedy. One of Steve Martin's best, in my opinion.

Tom Welling is in it. I think he plays the oldest son. (It's been a while since I saw it.)

I highly recommend it. A lot of fun to watch.

Dozen The Cheaper

I am usually a fan of Steve Martin. I rented this movie, but I didn't really enjoy it. I never got into the movie, if you know what I mean. It just didn't catch my interest and hold me. I have seen the original which was made many, many years ago, and did enjoy it, though.

Yes, Tom Welling plays the oldest son. I think they did a creative job on his relationship with his family.

LDS, definately see if you can get a hold of it. It's a comedy, but it has that warm, fuzzy, feel good moment in the end.

Wasn't Hillary Duff also in this movie as a draw to the younger crowd? I wasn't very interested in seeing this movie, but one day I'll probably get around to seeing; most likely when it is released on TV.
