I have used a number of Spyware removal programs and this one seems to be the best. To show you how good it is... I ran AdAware and two other spy removal programs and they found nothing (trojans, adware, etc.). When I used this it found 4 more for removal! It is good and free too.

What is DSO Exploit?
If you use Spybot Search and Destroy or another spyware removal tool, it may find an item called DSO Exploit. This exploit is a bug in Internet Explorer that under certain circumstances would allow untrusted software to run on the computer. In other words, its a hole in Internet Explorer that hackers could use to gain access to your system.
However, if you are running the latest version of Internet Explorer and have all your Windows Updates installed, the bug has been patched and is not a threat to your computer system. Even though Spybot may still show it as a threat.

I just downloaded and installed SpyBot on my test machine at work and it found 29 items, even after Yahoo's Anti-Spy program had run yesterday. I was able to fix all 29, including the DSO Exploit. We'll see how well it works. Thanks!

I have been using Spybot for a couple of years now and it has proven to be very reliable and good at what it does. I run both it and Adaware all the time. Both highly recommended. |

Malexander, run a test again and see if does not find more spy progs. I wonder how much of a 'fix' it runs since there are 'spies' that seem to reload themselves each time you restart. |

I reran today and only found the BSO Exploit which is not really a spyware program but a bug in Explorer. |
