The party is so tired and miserable that they decide to get some sleep until around 10-11 am. Maybe this will help them get back into a better mood and tackle their quest again. They all go to sleep in and around the wagon. They will rise between 10-10:30am, gather some firewood for later on, eat some breakfast, then begin their journey again. If they come by any stream or lake which seems clean enough, they will definitely stop, restock their water sacks, and maybe take some baths. Their plan is to continue heading east along the kingdom's boundary and parallel with the forest, until they sweep northward again and back to the village. They hope they can find some caves and at least make their journey worthwhile.
Kron speaks up for the stunned group. He tells the leader that him and his friends heard of gold out in these parts and decided to see if they could land on some fortune. However, they ran into a pack of wolves instead, and from lack of sleep and being attacked, now found themselves in this predicament. Kron explains that they mean them no harm and only wish to return home to the village.
Ice speaks up for Kron. "We are not lying. Kron is acting like that because he is afraid. And, why shouldn't he be. You sneak up on us, take our weapons away. What should we think? That you just want to join us for coffee?
We saw a dead body and wondered how it had happened to be there. Then being that we are in search of gold, we figured to see if there was anything on this body to make us richer since the poor soul was not going to be needing any of it."
Ice speaks up:
"One of us must remain behind? For what purpose?"
Ambria replies:
"I will stay with you. I think you will find that you might not want to rid yourself of me so quickly."
With no wagon, armor, food or weapons, the party has no choice but to start walking back in the direction of the village. They will keep an open eye for any signs of food or water, as their only mission now is to survive.
The party slowly and stealthily approach the area where the smoke is coming from, trying to discern whether the people associated with it are friendly or not.
The party agree that Ice will approach the men at camp and ask for assistance. She does so while the others lay in waiting for the outcome of this.
