I have played Dungeons & Dragons for many years. I have played 1st Edition(Hated it), 2nd Edition(Liked it), 3rd and 3.5 Editions(Liked 3.5 the best), and 5th Edition(It was fun while it lasted). Maelix Fleetwind is a Character that I had my first really fun Dungeons & Dragons Campaign playing in largely due to the people I was playing with as well as the person running the Campaign. Maelix is from a 2nd Edition Campaign and he is a Split-Class Fighter/Thief and a member of the Beggar's Guild(That was the name of the Spy Network that my Dungeon Master had for the Campaign). He is the exiled offspring of Minor Nobility, but he doesn't know that he is.

Some times it is the Dungeon Master and not always the game that makes Dungeons & Dragons fun. The games let your imagination go at times. I have played the original AD&D a lot over the years and I enjoy playing and Dungeon Mastering the game if you are interested. I also have a 3.5 campaign going that they party could use a few more active players if you are interested.
