I'm more interested in horror films. But also action, when the moment suits it. Mostly movies that involve Vin Diesel or Will Smith. When it comes to horror, there is no specific actor or actress, it's mostly the scare and the adrenaline rush that I go for.

I like a good scifi and fantasy but the problem is a lot of times they can be cheaply made like Ghost in Mars, that movie was the pits.

Although I'm a fan of sci-fi and fantasy ("real" fantasy, sword-and-sorcery, adventure) and some action movies (moreso martial arts, stunts), horror is probably more my top pick. But REAL horror - not mindless formulaic slasher movies, crazy cannibal gore movies, torture porn or shock movies. But HORROR, perhaps TERROR; the supernatural, the unexplainable, even if they're not necessarily "good", they're different - people that just suddenly get sucked into the sky, combo movies like the sci-fi/horror of Aliens, poltergeists, creepy black shadow cloud stuff that just envelops people and leaves slimy bones behind. HORROR.

I like every genre in movies when they're made well, but I prefer thrillers, comedies and fantasy-themed ones (like the recent Avatar).

Though I admit when you watch thrillers and comedies with other people, they get even better (or ruined in some cases tongue.gif )

I would have to say my favorites are Sci Fi/ Fantasy, or horror, because I love the exploration of "what if". In horror movies, I like to see different writers Ideas on how people would survive say, a zombie apocalypse. And in Sci Fi I like to see the writers different views on what the world or Universe will become.
