Control Panel

One of the features in the Forum Shop is the ability to purchase fancy CPs (Control Panels). These special CPs show up in your posts depending on which board you are located. They are expensive with purpose to avoid abuse and allow the 'wealthy' of the community to enjoy the more 'elegant' things of online forum life.

Do you have a CP? How are you enjoying it? Do you look at it often or those that belong to other users? Are there other types of CPs you would like to see available for purchase in the forum shop?

To be honest, I have the Knowledge CP but I accidentally bought it by clicking on the tab from someone else's CP. Maybe one thing I would offer as feedback is if someone clicks on the tab, take them to a screen where they can see they're buying something, and then they can confirm the purchase. Anyway, as for the CP I have, it is nice, as it shows my tech experience and is almost like a mini-resume. There aren't any others that I would consider purchasing at this time, if I had the FP to do so.

Good suggestion, but it is so dull and boring that way... after all, what can beat the thrill of realizing that you just bought a 300+FP CP to enjoy?

I have two CPs; the coolness factor (which is cool) , and the movie control panel, that I also like a lot. I like the design of them, and they're just one more way for people to learn more about you.

I also like how your munjpet shows in your posts in the munjpet section.

Yeah, it was a thrill alright. I almost crapped my pants! Luckily at the time I had an abundance of FP so it wasnt a big deal.

Well it goes to show you that one must sometimes crap his pants in order to enjoy something good. I am surprised not more users have bought the MP3 look alike CP as it is very inexpensive and a popular item (although not as fancy) on other forums.

*laughing heartily* Perhaps you have seen that I just got mine and I love it. I actually purchased three, which I have no idea of how I did, and they were in my inventory, so I just pulled one up. I think they look way cool and since I'm so into music, I like seeing who other people like to listen to. I see JB likes Enya a lot, just like me. I have 3 tapes and CD's of hers. Anyway, thanks for this awesome feature JB!

Most likely you clicked on a user's 'update' tab as Malexander did unless you purchased it outright in the Forum Shop. Keep in mind that you get only ONE chance to input information into these CPs, so when you are filling it in, ensure that it is EXACTLY what you want.
