About 'the Order'

Secret Order of the Village

Within the Village is a Secret Order and the only way you can know about it is if you are part of it. This secret order is not based upon a location or a specific building, but upon acceptance. This acceptance is due to either something unusual you did or your heritage. Unusual by way of helping the Order or heritage by means of birth right wherein your father may have been part of the Order. As a character we will consider you part of the order if you are an Upgraded Forum Member, however, even if you are part of the Secret Order you are NOT to discuss any information about the doings or actions within the Order as part of the scenario except with other players and this is done in the Board called, 'The Order'.

Benefits of Being Part of the Order

You have many benefits of being part of the order:

In Trouble

With a certain call you may alert others of the Order to your aide wether they know you personally or not.

Be Healed

You may request special healing to take place or even special potions that cure for a price. It is important to note that these potions can only be used by the players themselves so as to keep the secret safe. Most try to use the mystic potion in a hidden place so as to avoid questions.

Ask Advice at Each Meeting

Meetings are held bi-monthly unless a special occasion or emergency dictates an immediate gathering.

Greater Knowledge

You are able to read the tome of knowledge, a secret book that gives information you can find no where else.

Refuge

In the case of danger the one who needs it is usually encouraged to offer a high ranking member of the Order a place of refuge.

Secrecy

it is important to understand that if regular members (players) know this information and your membership in the Secret Order that they can use it against you. Therefore all information must be kept to yourselves. In the game it is assumed that there is no way for any regular member to know you are part of any unusual sect or group unless you specifically reveal it by words or actions.

Order the About

The Game Master says...

Players in the Secret Order

If players are part of the Secret Order and at the same time playing the same scenario then they may come to this board to discuss the current game and / or make plans that they wish for the GM to know about but not regular players. Keep in mind that regular members (not upgraded members) cannot see this board.

How to Communicate Plans to GM

1. To discuss plans freely post in the thread called, "Corner Discussion", it is called that because usually members of the Secret Order would gather in a corner when they do not want others to hear.

2. When you have made a final plan and wat the GM to execute your plan as part of the current scenario then you post in the thread called, "Final Decision" (similar to the principle of 'Party Order').

Who posts the Final Decision

In the Secret Order the leader is always the one with greatest authority and / or experience/ Usually intelligence and soul is also a factor. In the case where many may have similar attributes you can calculate it as follows:

1. The person with the most Village Authority leads (Elder, etc.)
2. If no one with authority can be found then the user with the most soul
3. If two or more players have the same soul then the user with the most mind
4. If two or more have the same soul and mind then the one with the most experience / level leads.
