Ever Been On Ship / Boat?

Have you ever been on a ship or boat as a means of transportation? It surely isn't as fast and efficient as a plane, but it is much more fun and relaxing to smell the fresh air and listen to the waves of the sea. Unless you are sea sick, that is wink.gif

Boat Ship On Ever

While I was in England and Germany, I used both forms of transportation. I took a boat across the English Channel on my own one summer, as I visited the Netherlands, Germany, and France. While travelling around those countries, I used the train system. I also used the trains quite a bit in England.

At various other times, we also used both the trains and the ferry. I absolutely loved it every time.

As far as I am concerned, trains are the very best way to travel, unless time is a real constraint. With a train ride, you can see the countryside, and not have to worry about driving. It is easier to get up and walk around, etc as well.

Ever Been On Ship / Boat? Reviews Consumer & Travel Family Culture

I really like boats/ships. I've been on a couple and love it. I plan to buy a small one when I will have the necessary means. With a captain hat and all. I will send you photos:)

Boat Ship On Ever

I took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and back once. I have also been on smaller boats in both lakes and ocean. I am fine in a lake, but in the ocean, I get seasick, unless the boat is moving. I have never been on a boat big enough to really be called a ship. Maybe some day, I will go on a cruise. It will probably need to wait until I strike it rich, though. biggrin.gif
