The Work And The Glory
We saw The Work and the Glory last week. Very good movie. It takes place in upstate New York in the 1820's-1830's. It follows a fictional family caught up in the beginnings of the LDS church, how they reacted and how the townspeople reacted. Good acting, photography, even romance. I would recommend seeing it. Not sure if it is showing in all areas.
Based on the series by Gerald Lund, the producer is Larry Miller, owner of the Utah Jazz.

If it was made on a small budget, you wouldn't know it. It had the feel of a major production. I haven't talked to anyone yet who did not like it.
