Hey Konq, sorry to hear about what has happened at your job. I recently had a change in management myself, and felt very much like you do, because my previous manager had promised me a promotion. My new manager doesn't seem as keen about it, and I am wondering if I will even get a raise. My advise to you is hold your head up, and hopefully something will work out for you in the end. Knoquererz, I read your movie-like Blog (or at least it is worthy to be made into a film) for a change and I must say that it reminded me of how presumptuous we can be at times. I am very happy for you and wish you long years together.

What a wonderful gift you've been given -- a little bittersweet, because of the pain and suffering you and your brother both had to go through, but a gift nonetheless. What a selfish, ignorant woman. Did she think no one would ever figure it out? That is fraud on her part, and I think it's a punishable crime. However, I'm sure there has been enough bitterness and bad feelings; perhaps losing her relationship with her son is punishment enough. (Although, personally, I'd take her to court to make her pay back the money she stole from her son! .. but that's more trauma than most people want to deal with.)
