You may have already said this in the past, but what is your job? I know firefighters tend to work in shifts like this, but I never knew they were 5 days in a row. How many days do you get off when a shift ends before the next one begins?

My job is a fire fighter in ways. I work on live production medical software. The company I work for hosts entire medical systems at our datacenter. When a system has a problem, it often means a patient chart is not able to be accessed in the emergency during an emergency. I make sure those problems get fix, and fast. I do get 4 days off in between, we need it to recoupe.

Thank you for the congrats! What kind of place pays you forum points for doing what you already like doing? Thats awesome, I would have done it for no forum points!

I have invited my wife. But my wifes disease doesn't afford her the option of sitting at the computer for any length of time. When she does, she goes to a forum in which there are other people going through the same thing as she is. I'm not going to push her, when she gets online, she likes to be with people who understand what she is going through and who can answer her questions about the progression of her disease. So, once in a while, I read my responses and the questions and she gives input.

I'm sorry about your wife, I guess you have been talking about this in your blog? I generally do not read blogs as there is just too much ground to cover on here each day, but for what it's worth it seems that you are the right man to take care of her. All the best.
