Job Quitting

I think that you've always got to have thought the decision through properly as opposed to in the heat of the moment. If you've sat back and analysed the situation and you still come to the same conclusion, then you're probably as well to start looking for a new job, but personally, I'd never give up a job before I had another one lined up.
I've only ever once left a job before the job has naturally come to the end, and that was after taking months of abuse from my boss, and it got to the stage that I no longer felt safe in the work place.. even then I got my next job lined up and then served my notice.

Quitting My Job History & Civil Business Politics

The only job I quit was because of future opportunities and the fact that a particular move they made with me was extremely disrepectful. However, by accident, I served my notice on Boss's Day! It was great...I found out it was Boss's Day on the way into work listening to the radio. At 4pm on a Friday, I went in and told them I was leaving and they had a choice to accept my 2 weeks or I will just leave and wont be back on Monday. I did my 2 weeks of notice and left. Best move I ever made!
