How about this situation?
The sealed man and woman divorce, but the sealing remains intact. The woman then has a child from another union. Is that child sealed to the first husband and the wife, even though the first husband is not the biological father?
I think Weisenberger's answer would be correct IF the woman were widowed. I think, however, since her marriage didn't last here on earth, and even though they are still sealed, that it is unlikely they will truly be with each other for eternity.
It is likely, if she were divorced, she would get that sealing broken and then eventually go to the Temple with the new husband at which time her new children would be sealed to her and her new husband.
If she were widowed, this wouldn't be an option and it would be absolutely true that her children would actually be sealed to her deceased husband.

She is divorced, but the sealing is intact because she has not remarried in the temple.
So, what I understand is that as long as the sealing isn't broken, the future children are sealed to the first husband and the wife?
I have thought about this subject a lot over the years. I was born the youngest of five kids. My parents separated before I was born and my father had an affair with another woman before they were divorced. I have a half-sister that is 7 months younger than I am. She was born before my parents finalized their divorce, and prior to my fathers excommunication. Does this mean she is sealed to my mother?
Who knows the answers to these questions? There are countless instances similar to the one I just outlined. I believe the answer is that it doesn't matter who you are sealed to, just that you are sealed. Through this act of being sealed you are not only sealed to your parents or spouse, you are also sealed to the Lord. If the sealing of your parents or you to your spouse is broken within this dispensation I do not believe this breaks your sealing to the Lord. Think of it like a triangle, with the Lord at the top point and the husband and wife on the bottom points. The line between husband and wife may be severed with the line from man to God, and woman to God remaining intact. All sealings go through the Lord, and in this manner you only need to be sealed to enjoy the blessings that accompany this ordinance.
What is the purpose for being sealed except that we are able to spend eternity with the people that we love? It makes no sense to me that families are segregated from each other in the Celestial Kingdom. I believe that everyone in the Celestial Kingdom will be sealed to each other, through the Lord. In this manner we will be able to spend as much, or as little, time with anyone that we want.
