I don't write many of my own poems, but sometimes they just pour out and I just got to write it down. Well here is one of the few poems I have written.
Aero Solaris
What's that in the sky, so high that the sun is in my eye.
Is it maybe something like a blur or could it make me purr.
As it's feathers drop from the sky gracefully, I try to catch them, it seem to move at my every whim.
As it flutters down closer I seem to catch a glimpse of it with my eyes, shortly it glides before it dives quickly towards me.
I hesitate as I see it coming at me with rapid secession, as it stop at what seems like an intermission.
The circles I see, it flies above me without a sound to be heard of, save the drops I feel as it cries.
With a sudden shriek of horror it's wing buckles as an arrow protrudes through it's head, falling towards me landing almost on me as if it were dead, not moving remaining motionless.
I cry senselessly trying to force the arrow from the wound through it's head, it's attacker moves closer menacingly.
I hurry with a scream ripping the arrow from the cavity it was jammed within, the creature moves to it's feet, the blood from the wound no longer but a stream.
It's wings flare out and it dart at the menacing creature felling it with but a single blow, it turns and comes to me, oh so compelling.
As I gaze at it, what I beautiful creature it was, aero solaris, it stops a few short feet away giving me a look of farewell as if it was to care for me.
I could not describe the sight I saw but maybe just a thought in my head, but maybe it was really a flying angel called Aero Solaris.
Aero mean flying and solaris means angel.
