I think a premium membership might work, but only if there is a good set of incentives to joining. For example, you don't have to wait for 30 posts to play RPG (but this is risky) and you get extra GP or whatever currency the RPG you are playing gets. It would need to be something to convince people who are already here for free that there is good reason to now make payment.
I would like protection against theft of my fp too. That would be really nice.
The cost of the protection is too high. By the time I could save up for it, I have already been robbed.
here is a tip... the daily raffle is one of the fastest ways of getting FP, for one thing, it happens no matter who buys tickets, so if no one buys a ticket for a day then 20 FP just blew away for free. There is also the lottery where you have a chance to win 500FP! Also, moderators get an automatic discount on all purchases Lastly, most times I have ridiculous FP give aways (up to 1,200FP!) and nobody applies for them *shrugs shoulders*, so I figure FP must not really be an interest or incentive for most members even with the large array of forum items available in the shop.
Maybe I will try the lottery. I find the contests usually too hard for me to win. I won once, but generally I also forget to check to see if one is running. My first hint about the last contest was when I saw LDS posting all over the place. So, I thought, somethings up, there must be some contest going on. :--> I checked and then knew I couldn't get that many posts so I just wished her good luck.
