My Assistant

This Thread deals with the feature known as 'My Assistant" located on the same bar as (Your username / Logout / Fav, etc.) at the top of every page. Do you use this feature?
Is there anything missing that you would like to see added that is not already included in the REM CP (Remote Control) and Phone Home Features?

Assistant My

I use my assistant all of the time myself. I really find it a simple way to navigate most everywhere within the boards.

The only thing that I find it lacking would be a link to the Zero Reply board. This is however something that can be found within the REM CP.

Offtopic but, I find that "My Assistant" is just in general easier to use than the REM CP. I enjoy the abilities to see the number of posts since my last visit actually displayed for me. The fact that My Assistant opens the links within the original window is a big plus as to the REM CP that opens everything in new windows.

I hadn't used My Assistant in so long that I had to open it when I saw this discussion. I used it quite a bit when I first joined the forum to track my posts, but with the relatively low number of posts here (compared to other forums where there are lot more frivolous posts) and the fact that I am online every day (for the most part), I haven't had the need to use My Assistant. I am glad, however, that it is available, in case I do need to use it (eg, if I have been off the forum for a while).

With the amount of links all over the place and the emphasis on the Site Map I cannot tell wether anyone still uses this... do you?

I used it for a bit, but then after I became more familiar with features found my use declined.
