"Slavery and the Making of America" is an epic tale told one small piece at a time. The four-hour PBS series, which airs tonight and Feb. 16 from 8-10 p.m. on Ch. 7, looks at 400 years of history from the perspective of individual slaves.

America Making The Slavery

I haven't seen the series but I think it is very important that shows like that can be produced, as the article states to show "to all Americans that slavery isn't just part of the African-American story". Slavery is part of American history and so many countries who have been involved. I think it is wonderful that they can show some of the faces and stories of these slaves.

Its supposed to be on tonight, I am looking forward to it. I have always been interested in our history in America. Slavery, though a horrible point in history, is an integral part of American history. I will make sure to watch when Im off shift, then post my comments, it should be interesting.
