Humans often like to take things to the extreme. Consider the link below of the DCShoes commercial which shows some unusual ways to dunk / slam a basketball into a hoop. There were no special effects involved:

Tricks Unusual
Wow, these are some really cool stunts. Basketball seems to be one of those sports that inspires the learning and developing of tricks. No other sport really has that many tricks to do except maybe soccer. I can do several basket ball tricks, but no one of them involves a dunk!
