How to GM

To be a GM in this RPG you must either be a Premium Member OR a very active Member, but you must also show that you have a good command over the English language (spelling and grammar) as we do not want anyone to consider that this Board does not have the SAME high standards that the rest of Boards have in this Community.

In addition to this it will be up to you to ensure that players also keep the rules. Mods, Bots and Admin will be checking the way you conduct games and handle players. If you are not in control of the game or players your status as GM WILL BE removed regardless of your Upgraded Membership.

So what do I do next?

1. Request that Admin start a thread with the beginning as [GM] followed by the name of your scenario which SHOULD only be ONE or TWO words for the most. In this thread you will then tell about your story based on the player's decisions. You must emphasize to the players that they DO NOT post in this thread, only you as the GM may do so.

NOTE: Admin will also start a Player Discussion thread based on the name of your scenario. Once created the name does NOT change.

2. Make sure to have an opening plot so that players can know if they want to join in or not. Do not force or pressure members to participate in your RPG, they will come if they want to.

3. Create your own character - even if you do not intend to be a player it is necessary for records, then Contact the GM and let him know you wish to be a GM. ONLY SERIOUS Game Master's SHOULD APPLY.

4. Check the player stats. This is done by clicking on 'GM Stats' which shows you all the players in 'Be A Super Hero RPG'.
