I sure hope the mother gets 30 years. Beating, and encouraging others to beat, her own daughter - because a boy kissed her - on the cheek!

I don't think is her own daughter. She was the mother of the birthday girl, I think her daughter is a 20 years old woman. The mother was upset because the boy who kissed the 12 years old girl was supposed to be her daughter's boyfriend. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

You are right. It wasn't the girl's own mother. I don't think the 20 year-old was the birthday girl, though, either. Could be, though.

Still, to beat up a 12 year-old, because a boy kissed her. I just don't see the connection, even if she was flirting and trying to get him to kiss her. He was the one who did the act.

I still hope the woman gets 30 years. It is a disgrace that the other two women get off so easily, 4 years and probably 6 years. I think they all need to be in prison until they are so old that there is no chance that they could ever have children again, as none of them have any right to associate with children of any age.

The poor child! She hasn't even become a teenager and already this event has probably caused her to grow much older than her years. Her 11 year old sister was beaten as well. That's such a disgrace. Our world is becoming so violent, especially towards children.

I am appalled that the other two are getting off so easily. It is so rediculous to me that people can be placed in jail for ten years for simply stealing, yet to be a child nearly to death only warrants four. I hope the mother does end up in jail for 30 years. Maybe it will put how precious life is into perspective for her.

No mention was made of the age of the boy who kissed the 12-year old girl. If he was around 12, and the daughter who is supposedly his girlfriend is also around 12, then these people are definitely crazy! Who cares if their 12-year old daughter's boyfriend is kissing another 12 year old? There is no concept of boyfriend-girlfriend at 12 years old. It's times like these when I wish that people should be punished the same way the crime was committed. These people need to be kicked and punched repeatedly to knock some sense into them.

This is such a terrible thing!. I could not believe it when I read the news. I am shocked at how short the sentence will be. Thirty years is way too short for what she has done to these poor little girls. She deserves at least 50 years in prison in my opinion and the other women too!. *shaking head*
