I will try to save Joe myself by first trying to wake him up with water and if that does not work picking him up. If he will be too heavy, I will ask for Althea's help. Hopefully it will not take too long and Daphne would not be put in danger.
Also, I will be leaving tomorrow for spring break for four days. Hopefully I will not miss much. In general, I support going as far into Death's Mouth as needed, even if our health is risked. In other decidions, I'm with the majority
OOC: Have a good vacation, Smudge! Hope we don't get your character killed before you get back.
LDS, it's down to you and me for the next little bit. I'm all for firing away until we figure out whether or not we can get Joe on a horse ... or not. You're a strong warrior, as is Mud. Althea has a shoulder wound, so will she shoot arrows very well?
Which of us will be third party leader?
~~
Althea will shoot arrows with Daphne as fast as possible to create a "cover" while Mud tries to get Joe onto his horse. Edited: FarSeer on 26th Mar, 2005 - 11:41pm
OCC: Okay, let's do that. Farseer, would you like to be the third party leader? You're a great in expression, gramma and stuff
ICC: Daphne starts looking at every side and says to Mud "Quickly, go down and throw some water to Joe to see if he wakes up, if he cannot, try to lift him into his horse, if you cannot, then we will have to move without him. Quick! Althea and I will start shooting our arrows and use it as a shield to protect you while you doing that. Don't take too long, if he does not react quickly, we will have to leave him behind and to all of of us, she says ...quick...let's ride our horses towards south as fast as possible. I'm an animal trainer, definetly I can get my horse to ride as as fast as possible, and hopefully your horses also will follow mine".
OOC: Okay, I'll take on the third in line... but thank goodness it's only temporary...! So I will post that Mud will get Joe onto Joe's horse, get back on his own horse, take the reins from Joe's horse and ride out. Althea and Daphne will send "cover fire" to the other side of the canyon. When Mud starts riding off, the two of us left will mount and ride like crazy out of that place. (
This is kind of scary, I haven't posted party order in awhile...
OCC: You will do great Farseer. Just make sure to emphasised the "shield" of shooting arrows while Mud tries to wake up Joe first by throwing some water and then deciding lifting him up if he does not react, and make sure to put that Mud will not take too long, if he cannot do it, then we will move on without Joe (Sorry Nighthawk!, this is a life-death situation). And we will ride like crazy towards south. Thanks for taking the calling!
OCC: Oh boy...what can I say, at least we are all back together!. There is NO way we can fight 20 guys, even if we were "healthy" and I believe none of us are crazy enough to want to stay and fight them!. Right?. So let's retreat as fast as we can..is there any place around where we could hide? although it is obvious it is not an option since these people are watching us. So what do we do?
OOC: Hurray! Ice is back! On the other hand, Althea is near death, and so is Joe, and a band of Bandits is heading swiftly towards us. Yikes!
Where are we? Are we still inside Death's Mouth, or are we on the other side and into the forest on the south side of the mountains? The GM's post does not say specifically if we are out of the canyons, only that we are out of the "situation" and go around a corner.
If we are still within the canyons, I say we need to find a cave. If we are at the edge of the forest, I vote for hiding amongst the trees, or riding along the mountain's edge west. If I'm unable to post before afternoon tomorrow (Sunday), please take Althea with the majority vote.
IC: Althea sways unsteadily in the saddle, weak from loss of blood and from pain. She wraps her reins around one hand tightly, and tucks the other around the front edge of her saddle. If the group needs to ride, she will hold on tightly and try to stay on her horse. Edited: FarSeer on 27th Mar, 2005 - 1:06am
