[camp] The Rescue - Page 19

IC: Daphne whispers in her horse's ear and says"Danger! let's get out of here!" she knows that by that command, the horse will run away from danger, get out of Death's mouth and possible be able to distract some of the bandits from hurting the rest of the group.

She starts riding as fast as the horse possible can towards the exit of Death's mouth, looking at her back at all times, in order to see if she has lost the bandits on her way out.

Rescue camp

LDS, when you exit Death's Mouth, which way do you plan to have your horse run? Straight or in another direction?

After re-reading the scenario, it does look like we will be on the side of the mountains towards our village when we come out of the pass. At first, I thought we were heading back into the other side. However, we were originally heading south, then Ice took off South, the rest of you joined her. We then had a choice to go back North from where we came or South past the bandits. So, North should be heading back to the correct side of Devil's Mouth. The map seems to indicate this as well.

I plan to make it run just outside Death's Mouth, if the bandits still following me, then I am heading straight towards the village and if during the trip, I lose them, then I am heading back to help.

Page 19 Rescue camp

After looking at the map, I will go to the right not the left. Then I will attempt to head back to the village after I have made a sweep to the right.

Rescue camp

IC: Kron proclaims to the rest "I will head west towards greystalk forest! I am healthy and have provisions. I will be back in the Village this same day. If I am not, then peril has taken over me. Be safe my friends!"

OOC: I will head west to the forest then loop north towards the Village once I have shaken off the bandits. I have lost track of time, but I'll make my way to the village as soon as I have eaten and drank a bit, and fed my horse. Good luck!

OOC: I rolled a 34. I guess I will have some bandits on my tail. Hopefully I can either lose them in the forest, or outrun them.

Well, I got a 32 so the bandits will be after me. I have a multiplier of -10 which I assume means to subtract 10 from my total, but even if it meant add 10 I would be pursued so I guess I will be followed.

Does anyone who has already rolled intend to modify their actions once they are either followed or not followed? That option was given us.

For me, it will depend upon how many follow me, I guess. I would imagine the same will be true for anyone else being followed.

Just post and let me know to leave your plan as already posted or to make whaever changes you want.

I am going to state I will flee and decide what further action to take depending upon how many are following me. If only a few, I will not keep running if it is apparent I can't out run them. Instead, I will duck behind a tree or large rock for cover and shoot at them with my arrows as they approach me.
