Mud thanks Sir Remi for the treatment of herbs as well as his corrupted soul allows him, and then catches a glimpse of a newcomer. "Why, welcome, ye warrior. Will ye be joining us in our mission? You look quite the mighty guy for that. As you do not have yer horse either, I suggest we follow Ice's plan. We should use our horses only fer parts that are really hard for walking, or where we need to retreat. So, are we waiting for more warriors or are we ready to start?"
OOC - In other words, should I withdraw money from the bank later or right now?
Konquererz just said he would play so let's give him some time to create a character and join us. Then we should get together a list of all the last minute purchases and healings we wish to avail ourselves of. The first post needs to include what each of us does to get healed. So, if you haven't already done so, put together a post of any further purchases you need and what steps specifically you will do for healing.
Are we staying with the same leaders? Also, what about formation? We will need to decide how to do that. I suggest the walkers are surrounded by the horses. Might be a good idea for riders to take turns in pairs scouting ahead to decide where to camp each night and in which direction to head.
Flare, charm, and fireworks caress the air about the camp. Cyroc the Sorcerer strolls leisurely into the camp. "Well met those of gentle spirit and those of naught!". Cyroc has arrived in camp.
OOC: Alright, I'm here, and sorry I'm late. It took a bit to entice me into the game. Thanks for asking me FBC. I think I spent all my gold already, I still have to read through the rules tonight to see what else I need to do. Be patient, this is my first real RPG.
"Well well well," says Mud. "What have we got here? It seems like another magician hath joined our party. Ye can be of some wizard company to Sir Remi here."
OOC - Wow, 9 members. That's the biggest Medieval party in which I have ever participated.
Welcome Konquererz. Don't worry we are all patient. It is just a game, unless of course, my character dies! Anyway, lets begin the planning process. How shall we do formation?
Who has horses and who has armor? I know that Mud, Ice, Daphe and Sabina have horses. Is Joe on foot?
If we have four on horse back. I would suggest we send two at a time ahead to scout for trouble and for where to go for a place to stay for the night and for graze for the horses and water for horse and human. The other two would walk with the members of the party on foot. Maybe have the riders on horse (the two whose turn it is) ride out two miles scouting for where to lead the party, ride back lead the party to that point, then have the other two ride out two miles, etc. This way, we can perhaps find the best places to spend each night and have a better idea where to go. Of course, it means two horses with five people so there will not be a quick exit in case of trouble. However, we could shorten the distance to one mile out if you think this is best. Or we could say the riders will travel out a little ways in advance looking for the best direction and when they come to a point where they think the party should turn, they will head back to the party and lead them to it, and specify we will not go more than 2 miles or 1 mile or whatever ahead of the party at any one time. I would keep 1 horse and rider in front, 1 in back and the three walkers in the middle side by side. When we need to go single file, it should be either Ice or Kron up front, followed by Daphne, then the three walkers in whatever order you guys feel is best, but I would put Remi dead middle since he isn't a warrior, and then Sabina and the end will be either Kron or Ice, whichever one we don't have in the lead.

I just checked, and the GM did NOT have us lose my backpack. So, as far as I can tell, I still have all my items. |
No discussion here of the order please. That is against the rules. Post there what you will, but here you need to just mention what you are doing here. Thanks.
