OC: Just keep your distance, we do not know if they are hunters or not. I do not think is a good idea to hail them, you are bringing unwanted attention to yourselves. If I was you all, I would camouflage in the woods and listen to see if you all hear anything that may indicate you that they are friendly or that they are enemies.

Rescue camp

OOC: I think that you should exercise caution and not hail them. You dont know if they are dangerous or friendly.

O.K. So far the majority think we should not hail them. I will wait a while longer to see what others have to say. I definately think some kind of communication at some point might be prudent since we have been accused before of not gathering enough information. We are told they look like hunters, but it is possible they are not. So, unless others have contrary opinions, we will do as LDS suggested and hide in the woods observing and listening to determine if they appear to be friendly. If they are or appear to be, then I think we need to talk with them. Agreed?

New IC: "Ice turns to Sabina and says, 'Not so fast, my friend, first we should see if they are what they appear. Let's take cover in the woods and watch them for a while.'

In the meantime, is there anything specific the larger body is doing?

Page 32 Rescue camp

OOC: The "hunters" are only 100 feet away - that's closer than shooting distance. I'm sure they've already seen us, and it would be pointless to hide from them. I think if they meant us any harm we wouldn't have seen them before they attacked us. However, while I'm sure caution is in order, I still think we should hail them and question them about bandits. But I will, of course, go with majority opinion.

I am not sure if they have seen you, and though I believe they are not harmful, caution should always be taken. So I say you should hide in the woods as LDS has suggested and observe from there.

I am going to post it this way:

We will try to determine if we have been seen. If we believe it is likely they already know we are present, we will hail them. If it appears that they haven't seen us, we will do as LDS suggested. If we are not sure, we will hail them because both FarSeer and I are the ones in any danger and we are in agreement that we should hail them if they saw us. If we hide and they know we are there, it will likely make them think we mean them harm.

Glyph, have you looked at the medieval map? I don't think there is another way around is there? If so, we should consider it. Is it to the east or the west?

I think Ice should offer a gold coin for information. Maybe show the gold coin and say "I will give this to the first person who offers us any information of value to us in our search such as what direction they went or how many there were. If it is extremely detailed and helpful, I will make it 5 gold coins."
