I.C.- "I will go, though I have no projectiles, I'm sure I could carry th weight of a wolf or two easily."
OOC- If his help is refused he will decide to retreat to a body of water to freshen himself a bit more rather than squabble with anyone else.
IC - Mud looks around the group and snarls. "Oh, why am I stuck on this mission with all of you pompous warriors?"
OOC- I agree that we should rest a while to gain some morale. Fighting with ourselves is the greatest source of weakness.
OOC: Are there any other activities we can engage in after we rest that would help boost team spirit. Maybe exchanging war stories over a campfire, or scouting for some bathing water? We definitely need to work on team morale before we engage in any battle with bandits, as team work will be key to our success. Also, please, everyone who is involved in the scenario, continue to post on the forum to keep your participation level high enough to continue.
IC: "We will rest up, no doubt. But let us also learn more about each other through past stories or whatever else comes to mind. Let us end this squabbling at once, lest the bandits hear our yelling and bickerin' and attack us without us knowing!"
IC: "If the hunters are lucky, we can have some meat tonight and tell stories of our past battles. It will help us get to know each other and allow us to share some memories."

It may bring us bandits, but will they be the ones that have our "friend" held captive? Will they know these other bandits if not. What good will they do us dead? Do we plan to just capture one for questioning? Let's really think this through. We don't usually get this much time to think, plan and discuss. |
IC: Cyroc finds a tall tree and finds a nice crook to rest in and meditate. Cyroc uses ancient techniques designed to release bad karma from his body and peace to his dark soul. Upon closing his eyes for a while, he flashes back to his past and see a familiar place fall to the ground in blood and go still. His eyes snap back open and he wipes the sweat from his brow. He climbs down the tree and strolls back into camp. He stops suddenly as Kron makes a comment about telling stories of the past. "Who really wants to hear what someone ELSE did in a life we don't care about!" He sulks down against a long glumly with concern clearly posted on his face. He feels bad after seeing the stunned look from Kron, but has nothing further to say about the matter. "A fool and his stories...." Thought Cyroc darkly to himself.
As she reaches camp, Sabina still feels the earlier tensions, and wonders what she might do to ease things a bit. Since she's feeling much more relaxed and refreshed after bathing, she hunkers down and begins to draw a rough map in the dirt of their travels so far, with points marked where the party camped previously. The she marks where they are now, and how far they might be from Death's Mouth. Sitting on her haunches, Sabina looks around the camp questioningly. "Anyone with more to add here, please do so. Let's plan our approach to the Death's Mouth canyon before we are picked off like ducks on a pond."
