IC: Well, I see you all returned rather more quickly than I expected. You also look a little worse for the experience. Is there anything I can do to help?

OCC:
Apparently Joe hasn't recovered any in the time the party was away. It doesn't look like he will be ready for further adventuring for a while.

I am sure JB just hasn't updated his HP because he wasn't an active player. I will check with him to see what your expected HP will be for this next journey so you can make a determination regarding leaving for the next journey. FarSeer's character needs help.

It seems that this mission requires the participation of more people, since we always come back failing. I say, then, we should wait for more to join.

I asked JB about Joe. He said we were only gone three days. If we want to stay two weeks in the village, we can post that in the first party order, but first we must visit Knight. This would allow Joe to heal. Sabina is going to need some healing too.

I believe Knight is going to demand the return of what he gave us the first time out. I believe it was a horse. I am willing to pay my share for the horse, but everyone else is going to have to come up with some as well.

I do not plan to take this next trip out. I see no way to be successful with this trip, and I am quite willing to tell Knight it isn't worth my life. I think this mission cannot be successful because we are trying to do the wrong thing. I don't believe we can walk safely through Death's Mouth. Yet, we can't all afford horses.

Perhaps I should post that we go to meet Knight. This way, at least we will know what it is he wants.

What do you all think?

Sounds like a good plan.

I thought that was probably the situation about Joe.

I agree that talking to Knight first is the best you can do for now ... we'll decide what to do after speaking with him.

OOC: I think maybe we are approaching Death's Mouth in the wrong way -- full on, in public view. Perhaps we could use a little more stealth, approach from a different direction, etc.? Before we left the village, there was a woman in the tavern who seemed to know something of the brigands, but we didn't talk to her. Maybe we should spend some time in the village to listen for clues, hand out a little gold (privately) to folks for information? Obviously, Sabina needs some help, and we've lost 3 players. I'm all for speaking to Knight to see what he wants, but I'm not ready to give up on the whole mission yet. We just need to regroup and rethink our approach.

edit: I think Sabina has sufficient gold for having a doctor see to her injuries.

I made some GPs(25) and I'd like to buy some stuff:
Cloak 1 ... cost 2 GP
Leather Armor 1 ... cost 22 GP

I got left 2 GP; if you think that something is needed I'm happy to donate it for the party (I know it's not much, but it's the best I can come up with for now).
