OK, I must have missed LDS' message.
Farseer, let me know, as soon as you are ready.
Here is my proposal:
We will rest in town for 6 weeks, at our homes or normal lodgings. During that time, if Florena shows up again, I suggest we offer her 1/4 or 1/3 of the takings for her help. Otherwise, perhaps we move on to just finding bandits and wiping them out.
Now, after looking at the map, I saw that there is a pass to the east of Death's Mouth. If we went through that pass, and stayed close to the mountains, we could come up to Death's Mouth from the back side, and look for the bandits. It would require stealth and cunning to do this. No rushing up, no setting traps, just slow, careful advancement. We need to always, no matter what we are doing, be looking for areas of strong defense before we make camp.
Everyone, PLEASE submit suggestions about our next move!
IC: As friends of Sabina, you find in her pouch a secret lining holding sufficient GP to pay the doctor, and plenty left over.
OOC: Okay, the 55GP is in the pouch, plus the extra I purchased today. So here's what I have left:
Previous balance: 36 GP
Purchased: 275
Total: 311
Doctor fee: 55
Total: 256
Other purchase: 100
Total now: 156

Update: Now that party order has been posted, we should have something new from the GM soon.
I agree with Joe's assessment of using stealth and a different approach to the bandit's hide away, and in finding secure camping areas each night. Once Sabina is healed, she will have more input into our new strategy.

I can be second leader as is required by the GM. As for the plan, I am for what has been proposed. Thanks Nighthawk for taking the lead on this.
I need to know how much gold Ramer has left after all the purchases.
Farseer and I chatted last night, and she has volunteered to be second. This will be important, as I will be travelling the first two weeks of July, and internet access will be spotty.
OOC: After checking the map, the passage to the East empties out into Hordeland. Looks like some fearsome creatures live there! However, to save our good names and do what damage we can to the brigands (not to mention exacting a bit of revenge), I'm all for checking it out.

IC: After some weapons practice with sword and sling, Sabina takes a break and studies the map of the village and surrounding areas. "Joe, with y'er plan for using stealth, caution, and courage, perhaps we can salvage some of our dignity." She points with her pocket knife to a point on the map. "The distance seems the same between here and the east passage as it is from here to Death's Mouth. It shouldn't take any more time to travel there. I fear the rescue of the kidnapped Kiana is now fruitless; but I've scars and friends to avenge...." Sabina thinks almost fondly of frail little Sir Remi, and his odd ways, and vows in her heart to make a brigand pay for his life.
IC: Hello Sabina, those scars appear to be fresh, if all goes well we will not add to many more to your collection. You look as though you have had some practice with your sword. This one is new to me and I have had little practice against anything greater than a tree. Would you mind sharing some of your skills so that I may be able to learn a bit from you?
"Hummm, 13, 14, 15" he looks all around the area he is sitting and amongst his equipment "1, 2, 3.....13, 14, 15, it should be sixteen, I think or was it 15 I could have sworn I had 16 coin. Has anyone seen a coin near here? I think I may have dropped one."

IC: Sabina nods in greeting to Ramer. "Aye, friend, new scars they be, and all the more annoying for the anger that simmers within me." She draws her sword and hefts it from hand to hand before balancing it lightly, yet firmly, in her fighting hand.
Sabina sets her stance and, grinning slightly, she meets Ramer's eyes. "A warrior can't have too much work with his weapon, friend. The rules of engagement apply whilst in camp. Prepare to fight!"
