Pen Pals

Are you still interested in having someone write to you via Snail Mail? We are interested to know if having a feature where users can input their mailing address (not residential address) so others can write them will be wanted by all of you. Everyone will be able to input the information, but only certain Upgraded members will be able to see it. Also what about a space for your phone number or special Club you belong to? If this is something that everyone will use then it will be added.

I absolutely don't my phone number posted so anyone can see it. Not that I don't trust yall, its just that I keep that close to the vest and get nervous about giving it out.

I don't think that the snail mail penpals is a good idea. What would be the point to it. If you are online at the forum, then its a good bet that you do email. And if thats the case, why do something that takes money and more time?

I don't know about the club, it could be cool. It would really depend on what the club does or what you do in it. The rpg's are already like a club.

I would not want this. If there is someone online that would want to correspond offline, we would exchange addresses and phone numbers privately. Heck, I'm in the phone book, if someone had my full name and city, they could just look it up. But I don't want it posted elsewhere, really.

I have enough relatives who accuse me of not writing to them via snail mail. This would not work for me either. If I want to correspond with someone offline, which is very rare, I would use email or IM. Snail mail is not my cup of tea for communicating with others.

It looks like this is not a feature to be built. However, maybe it can instead be an option for people to know what associations you are with like Lion's, Rotary, FARMS, Veteran's, PTA, etc.
