Heads Of State That Lie

Are there Heads of State (Presidents / Prime Ministers of Countries) in the past or present that you think are 'regular' liars? Do they often feed the public mostly what they want to hear? What facts do you have that they are lying or are you merely assuming this based on public opinion?

Lie State Heads

Bill Clinton was a regular liar. The first thing he did in office was lie. He made a campaign promise that he would allow the Haitian refugees shelter. The first thing he did as president was to turn back the Haitian refugees. He continually lied on the stand and was caught in those lies time after time, that is why he was impeached.

Another good liar was George Bush Sr. His major campaign promise was, and I quote, "read my lips, no new taxes!". However, as time would tell, taxes where raise more than any other president twelve years before. He got around this by not implementing new taxes, but raising existing taxes. Not entirely a lie, but I count it as just as much dishonest as flat out lying.
