How Good A Friend Are You?

Instructions: Answer the following questions using this rating system:

I feel a need to be better with question number 3. Believe it or not, I am shy in these sorts of situations, yet I know how much l appreciate it when someone approaches me and introduces themselves, so I really would like to be better at this.

Question number 4 really isn't a big priority for me. Most of my friends are members or don't live in the area. I think, if I were to invite them it wouldn't really be out of true friendship, but with the ulterior motive of conversion. Most of the activities that would happen at Church wouldn't really be of great interest to them so my including them wouldn't really be because I think they would enjoy it, but so that they would be exposed to the Church. I realize I am a ward missionary, but I don't have the same feelings a lot of others have about missionary work. I will live my life the way I should, let you know what I believe and why, let you know I am willing to talk about it, etc., but then you must show some interest before I will go any further with it.

I got 32 when I rated myself. I need to work on number 3 and 4 this year as I have not done very much of it...Just been too busy which is not a great sign of doing missionary work! or getting to know people at all!

3. 2 - I am kind of shy sometimes, not to mention that I have been moving so much lately, I usually don't know most of the people at church. However, in such situations I try to strike up a conversation and introduce myself to someone.

4. 2 - In the past I have had close friends where we plan activities together, now I go places with my husband though we do things with friends often.

5. 3 - I am often because I highly dislike conflict. But I can't claim being always the first.

I have been trying my best and have accomplished it...I'm very shy so it takes a lot of will power to do it.

For # 5 . When I have an argument with my friend, I am the first to make up. I've never fought with friends but I have fought with my sister. One thing I have learned though is even if you're not in the wrong you must not wait for the other person to apologize.
