I don't think he will run again in 2012 but certainly has been a great experience for him and his family as well.

I'm actually glad that he dropped out. Too much focus on his religion, not enough focus on the man and his politics.

I wasn't glad. He dropped way too quickly. He should have stayed longer.

Romney Mitt

First off, what ever happened to "no religious test for the office of president"? Does our constitution mean anything any more?
Second, I would never vote for mitt. The man will sell his soul to the highest bidder. One minute it "I am not nor would I ever try to take us back to Reagan" and the next its "I am the only Reaganite conservative running for president". One minute its "Abortion is a womans right, and the state should not infringe on that right to choose" the next its "Abortion is abhorrent and should be banned for any reason". One minute its "all people should have the right to happily marry, including gays" next its "Marriage is a sacred bond between a man and a woman and should be protected". Nonsense I tell you. He doesn't have a core value in him! I'm glad he is out!

The endorsement is actually a interesting thing. Why? It isn't like McCain really needs it for the nomination. It isn't like Romney's People and McCain's People are all that different. Both of them are not really that conservative and they both really don't strongly support the christian right...so why? I thought about Romney making a play for a VP seat on the ticket, but I really dont see how that helps McCain. McCain needs to go after those that are voting for Huckabee in a VP choice.

The republican party is paying attention to Romney though. His campaign was organized and did pull in quite a few delegates for as long as he ran it. Too bad he only started to loosen up to the microphone before he pulled out of the election.

I really didnt see, through the media outlets that I was looking at, a focus on religion as much as I did his flip flopping on issues that are important to voters and a questioning on his conservative characteristics. Sad thing to say, but he really could use some acting lessons to get him to loosen up more and seem "human" in front of the mic and camera.

When I read that the first thing that came to mind was that Huckabee directly attacked Romney and was responsible for the emphasis in his religious background being an issue.
