WOMAN LEADS MUSLIM PRAYER SERVICE IN TORONTO
A Muslim congregation in Toronto made history when it became the first mosque in memory to have its Friday prayers led by a woman.

Prayer Islam Leads Woman
You have to give Pamela Taylor recognition for doing this in the first place. It takes guts and courage to do something that has never been done before. In this case, it was not just something that hadn't been done, it was something that was not accepted in most Muslim communities. I hope that this will lead towards equality amongst the sexes in Islam and allow the religion to begin to come into the modern era. Its a good step towards stopping violence from Islam when you move towards the idea that people and sexes and races are equal.
