You are probably wondering why I would start such a thread, but over the years and most recently I have experienced insects that do silly things like dive in my glass and then drown themselves. No, I am not saying it is by accident, I mean they go from the rim of the glass, then dive straight down into your liquid. Then there are other times that you have the real crazy ones like flying roaches that try to fly into your face when you spray or attempt to hit them. Have you had any crazy experiences with insects?
I had a fly that buzzed near my face until I swatted it down with my hand. When it recovered, it started buzzing my face again! I swatted it once again, it recovered, and started buzzing me again! I then had to take vengeance and smash it. But I never understood the flies death wish.
Just like people animals and insect and everything else has a sense of intelligence and uniqueness about them. Some actions are harder to explain then others but they still happen. No one can explain why roaches still live even after a house is treated for them. No one really knows why a mouse after eating poisoned cheese or whatever they would eat and they still live. Some mice even live after being smashed by a trap. Most bugs are attracted to smells of sugar or pretty or shinney colores. Flys are attracted to rotten or bad smelling things because they are easier to digest.
