Rundown

The Rock acts as a retrieval agent working for an unsympathetic boss who seeks to collect whatever money or pride that is owed to him. At first I was into the action, but then I began to wonder if it is an action or a comedy based on the many funny scenes. The other thing I thought was hard to swallow was the fight scenes - is the Rock made out of metal? It always amazes me how 'action heroes' get stronger and fight better the more you hit them. It is almost as if the harder you hit them the stronger they get. Must be some kind of Hulk reaction? wink.gif

The Rock seems to always play the same character. This movie is the same way. I do notice that this one is hard to distinguish between comedy and action. I think it comes off as both. Unfortunately, its billed as an action movie, not an action/comedy. The Rock is a wrestler, if you have ever watched wrestling, you will know exactly why he becomes invincible the more he gets hit. You should watch him take a chair and bounce back, its amazing! laugh.gif

The movie is mildy amusing, it has great entertainment value. I don't think it will make my top ten, but I enjoy most of the Rocks movies.

I found the movie really amusing and entertaining. The Rock and Seann William Scott make a great couple and I wouldn't mind seing them in another movie. One of them does the fight part, the other the comedy/fun part of the movie. You will spend 104 relaxing minutes with them. 3 starorange.gif' /><!--endemo--> </p><div> </div> </div>
