I think that Looney Tunes made a cartoon out of this. I have read the story, but for the likes of me cannot understand exactly what the purpose of shooting each other accomplished. Why shoot each other, what was done was not something so horrible that needed a shooting. Its almost like romeo and juliet, except the familys end up dying instead of just the kids.

That's so sad! It's like the Hatfields and McCoys, always fighting and no one really knows why. They just don't like each other. It's interesting that they would not tell the police *anything* to help resolve the situation. Andthe quote from the wife of the man who was arrested "my husband is not a violent man" just because he's been in the US for 24 years and has never had any trouble. Why does that make him "non-violent"?

This is very sad. These people are out of their minds *shaking head*. Farseer has a very important point, just because the guy has been in the US and has not been arrested before it does not make him a non-violent person. How many criminals out there has never been arrested?. TONS!.

Offtopic but, When I read this thread and before going to the link provided, I knew this issue would involved a Hispanic family. Now before anyone accuse me of racist, let me clarify to those that do not know me that I am hispanic myself. I have seen that a lot of the hispanic population in the US are involved in all sort of violent-related crimes. I watch the news, I see it in AMW (America Most Wanted) and see this is getting out of hand. It is very sad because people usually generalize a group of people based on these bad apples. Strict immigration controls to certain specific group like Mexicans who are in the border, should be taken into consideration, specially those who have a criminal background.

What is with the people these days. It reminds me or Romeo and Juliet. I don't see why people should act that way. Kids will date who they want wether you tell them to not date or not do another thing, they are going to do it just because you said no.
