This new calendar uses Christmas as the "lock" point so that Christmas is always on Sunday. This means New Year's Day is always on Sunday and then every day is determined from there. It is still a seven day week, but an additional week is added every 5 or 6 years to account for the fact that 365 is not evenly divisible by 7.

Calendar Gregorian Bye Bye
What a ridiculous idea! I cant figure out or remember dates now, they go and change it, then I am screwed! They need to do away with daylight savings time, and do away with leap year, and do away an idea for another calendar. Just leave it the way it is for goodness sake. Why does everything need a better idea, some things just work on their own the way they are.
