An Army sergeant charged in a deadly grenade attack on his comrades wrote in
his diary that his fellow soldiers were mistreating him, and that once he was
sent to Iraq, "I am going to try and kill as many of them as possible," a jury
was told Thursday.

Murder War Using

I hope they put this guy away for a long long time. Our guys are dying everyday at the hands of Iraqi insurgents, and now we have someone like him killing our boys too. How selfish are you that you would attack your own soldiers in arms during war. This story strikes a hard core nerve in my body. He is supposed to be dedicated to his guys! What ever happened to one for all and all for one, leave no man behind!? I really hope they put this guy away big time!

Wow, I do not know the kind of process that involves to get a person in the Army but this guy seem like a total nuts *shaking head*, what he has done deserves the death penalty because he planned all these murders and he betrayed his country in a brutal manner. He is a coward. If he really believed he did not want to kill any muslims (for whatever reason) why he did not say so and decided not to go and face the consequences?.

There have been many reports over many years of similar occurences. War changes people and those that should not be in the Army etc this is sometimes the outcome.

I can believe that War does change people, but I wonder if at the root of it that War really unmasks their true nature. I say this because there are times in War where people still show kindness or compassion or loyalty while others choose to do all the opposite simply because they have the power to do so.
